Garden of Hope

Ministering Through Grow-Your-Own Food

growing vegetables, flowers, and community

The Garden of Hope is a community garden open to the people of Jonesborough, Tennessee.  Using raised beds and modern square-foot gardening techniques to ensure fruitfulness, the garden appeals to novice and expert gardeners alike.

There is no cost to participate in the garden, rather we ask that gardeners pitch in for community service days a few times a year to help with maintenance of the shared spaces.

A teaching and demonstration garden is located at the front of the church and used to supply fresh produce for the widows in our congregation.

Progress is underway on an irrigation pond and large children's playset.
